Rummikub

Rummikub allows four players to play at once. To win, you must be the first to eliminate all your tiles.

To win, you must be the first to eliminate all your tiles. It is acceptable to position tiles in middle of groups. A set is composed of at most three to four tiles of the exact same rank but different colors. The term "group" is another name for this. A set can also be called a run. In this sequence, three or more similar-colored numbers appear in one row. The winner is the player who has used up all their tiles before anyone else. Rummikub is a great choice when planning a game evening. It's fun for everyone. You might want to give it a try.

Tips

  • It is not always advisable to set all of your available tiles on the table at the start of the game. Holding some and waiting for other players to put particular tiles on the table first frequently gives you more possibilities.
  • When you have a group or run of four tiles, it may be advantageous to only play three of them and play the fourth tile on the following round. This method, you may avoid taking an extra tile in the next round.
  • Consider carefully on what you do with your Joker. You must measure the benefits of having a Joker late in the game against the possible penalty of 30 points if it remains in your rack when the game ends.
